What Goes Around Comes Around is a fabulous joint venture of the Full Throttle, Lakeshore, Madison and Rockford clubs. Celebrate your triumphant return (or debut) at the famous Milwaukee Mile, the longest-continuously-running racetrack in the country and a staple of the MC schedule in years past! As you probably have heard the current promoter was not able to pay their bills, but State Fair Park is honoring all club contracts and is very supportive of our event. The event is definitely ON!Since we haven’t been there in a while, we’re starting off with a full day open-track test-and-tune Saturday to get your confidence up. They cut us a deal on the track rental, so all the prices are the lowest of the year. The track day is just $100 for the whole day if you are autocrossing or racing this weekend. (You get a $50 coupon at the track toward your AX/WW entry.) Then by special arrangement with the track, there’s an hour of free track touring at the end of the day Saturday and Sunday for muffled cars. Plus free dinner Sat/Sun courtesy of Madison SCC followed by free music courtesy of Harley-Davidson: The Outlaws Friday and Foghat Saturday. Please come out to support and celebrate MC’s return to its roots by racing, working or both. We want to make Milwaukee a regular event on the schedule and we need enough people to make it work.As you know, every big race has a Ferris Wheel so obviously we need one. In fact we need a bunch of them. All MC clubs are hereby challenged to a no-holds-barred, no-rules Ferris Wheel shootout. The best Ferris Wheel entitles the winning club to at least a hundred years of bragging rights. Popsicle sticks, Erector sets, CAD creation or carved SPAM, 20 mm or 20 yards: your choice. Just make it good.Get a big leg up on your competitors for this weekend's Autocross and Wheel-to-Wheel Race with two hours of open practice track time. There will be rotating groups for Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Competition License holders. Some instruction is available from our volunteer staff but is not guaranteed. Registration is limited to maximize your track time. Unlike most Midwestern Council events, preregistration and prepayment are REQUIRED to hold your spot. Our complete HPDE rules are available on-line at www.mcscc.org/gcr.php. Note that roll-over protection is required for open cars.
