4th Annual Rock 'n Road Hill Climb at Eagle's Nest

Course set-up: Thursday, July 30- 10:00 am to 5:00 pm; Friday, July 31-10:00 am until last car is positioned in the paddock.
Registration: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Banner Elk Elementary School, Banner Elk, NC
Cars will depart from this location to be arranged in the paddock at the hill climb site. Drives should endeavor to arrive in Banner Elk well prior to the 6:00 pm close of registration.
Saturday, July 31: 7:15-Workers' meeting, 7:30-Drivers' meeting near start line. 8:30 am-Cars on course for first of two recon runs. Timed runs begin after recon runs are completed. 10:00-10:15 worker break, course open for 15 minutes for residential traffic, shuttle vans. Timed runs resume. 12:00-1:00 lunch break. 1:00 pm to 3:00 timed runs. 3:00 to 3:15-worker break, course open to residential traffic, shuttle vans.
6:00 pm-Worker, driver, driver crew social at Best Western Mountain Lodge. Food, cold beverages will be served.
Sunday, Aug.1: 7:15-Workers' meeting, 7:30-Drivers' meeting near start line. 8:30 am-Cars on course for first timed runs. 10:00-10:15-Worker break, course open for 15 minutes for residential traffic, shuttle vans. 12:00-1:00-Lunch break. 1:00-4:30-timed runs, 4:45-Trophy presentation, end of event: thank you!

From Charlotte, NC: I-85 South to US 321 North. US 321 North to Boone, NC. Turn left on NC 105 to NC 184/194 turn right onto NC 184/194 follow into Banner Elk to traffic light. Turn left on NC 194 (Banner Elk Highway). Stay on NC 194 approx. 4 miles to the entrance to The Lodges of Eagle's Nest on the right.

Alternate route from Charlotte: I-85 South to US 321 North. US 321 North to I-40 West. I-40 West to Morganton, NC 18 North. Take NC 18 North to NC 181 North follow NC 181 to US 221 and bear right on US 221 North. Follow US 221 to NC 184/194 and turn left. Follow NC 184/194 into Banner Elk, turning left at traffic light and follow NC 194 (Banner Elk Highway) approx. 4 miles to the entrance to The Lodges of Eagle's Nest on the right.

From Atlanta: I-85 North to US 221 North near Spartanburg. US 221 North to Linville, NC. US 221 merges with NC 105 in Linville. Stay on NC 105 to NC 184/194, turn left. Follow NC 184/194 into Banner Elk. Turn left on NC 194 (Banner Elk Highway) approx. 4 miles to the entrance to The Lodges of Eagle's Nest on the right.
