Great Lakes Sports Car Club presents the first MC Autocross of the season, the Great Lakes Grand Prix 2012! It follows the usual Midwestern Council format but with a few extras. For novices, we are offering station wagon laps with instructors to familiarize you with the track before competition hours. Come to grid between 7:30 and 7:50 am to take advantage of this new opportunity. And at the request of competitors, we will have two practice sessions followed immediately by timed runs. Competition begins before lunch break so you get MORE RUNS! Plus a new huge display to show your time as you finish!
As a lagniappe, ALL entrants and race staff are automatically entered in a drawing for an Indy Racing Experience, your chance to drive a real Indycar at the Brickyard!
Please download the entry flyer below for full details and schedule. Preregistration online, by mail or fax is strongly encouraged. Pre-reg deadline is Wednesday May 2 but you can register at the track on the day of the event. The cost of this event is $130 or $155 for non-MC-members.
Find our complete schedule and Autocross GCR at www.mcscc.org. Our classes are different from other groups. A number of cars have been added this year and a few reclassified. Snell 2005 or later helmets are REQUIRED this year: 2000 helmets are no longer accepted.
