We will run three heats. If the number of entries at an event becomes too great, the number of heats may be increased to four. We plan to give each entrant four runs.
Cars will be grouped by class. A revised grouping will be used if we run four heats. The event administration reserves the right to assign a class to a different group at the event, if an unusual circumstance arises.
Groups for a three heat event:
Group A - D, E, F, G, H Stock, Modified, Street Modified, FSAE
Group B - Street Touring
Group C - A, B, C, S Stock, Street Prepared, Prepared
Ladies Class: A competitor competing in a ladies class will run in the heat following their corresponding Open Class. If the corresponding Open Class runs C, Ladies Class runs A.
Any changes in the group/class assignments made prior to the event will be shown on our web site and also in the MAE registration information. A competitor must run in the heat to which his group is assigned to be eligible for series points.
This event: B runs first, C runs second, A runs third
Drivers in heat A work during heat B, drivers of heat B work in heat C, heat C drivers work in heat A
Entrant numbers will be assigned according to heat (100, 200, and 300) but need not be assigned according to class. Preprinted numbers will be issued to every entrant at the event and the entrant is required to place those numbers on his car. Registration will close at the time of the drivers meeting which is usually held at 9:45 AM. We plan to allow walk-throughs between heats.
Fees will be $35 for those preregistering on Myautoevents.com and $40 for those registering the day of the event. Registration and tech will be open until the beginning of the first heat.
