Round 8 of the 2012 Detroit Region SCCA Rallycross Champions.

Calhoun County Fairgrounds is a 1/2 mile oval horse track. The surface is a clay and sand mix, which can be fast and sticky if the moisture is just right, slick and slimy otherwise.

Fee: $40 if pre-registered, $10 late fee if not, $15 weekend membership for non-SCCA members

Schedule:

Friday, November 9th, 1:00 am - pre-registration closes

Saturday, November 10th, - 10 am - track set up begins

10:30 am - On Site Registration Opens - $10 late fee if you have not preregistered. Keep in mind there is a 50 car maximum entry!

10:45 am - Tech Opens

12:00 noon - 1:00 pm - Test and Tune session. $5 per run or 5 runs for $20. All cars must pass tech. All Driver's must be registered to run the test and tune.

2:00 pm - Novice orientation - required for drivers who have never competed in a Detroit Region SCCA rallycross event. An optional track walk with an experienced driver will follow.

2:00 pm - Registration closes

2:00 pm - Tech line closes

2:30 pm - MANDATORY Drivers Meeting

Runs will start after the conclusion of the Drivers Meeting. There will be 8 runs total in 2 heats with groups running as announced in the Drivers Meeting with a dinner break between heats. The evening sessions will be held under the lights but stock headlights are required and additional driving lights are encouraged.

Work assignments will be announced at the Drivers Meeting. All Driver's are required to work at their assignment at all times when not running. Failure to be at your work assignment when required will result in a DNF. Please cooperate and this won't become an issue!

From Detroit: Take I-94 to Exit 112, turn towards Marshall. Turn Left at the first light then follow the sign to the Fairgrounds.

From Chicago: Same as above!

From Ft. Wayne: Take the Marshall exit off I-69. Go through the traffic circle then turn right at the third light.
