Round 6 of the 2014 Detroit Region SCCA Rallycross Championship presented by Thayer Automotive.

I-96 Speedway is a smooth, hard-packed banked half mile clay oval dirt track with a banked 3/8 mile oval contained within. Our event will use both ovals in different configurations for the event running. The track can be wicked slick if wet but catch the moisture right and it
can be faster than pavement!

There is free camping onsite both Friday and Saturday nights with a Region Sponsored party Saturday night after the event. There are indoor bathrooms onsite and a concession stand for lunch both days.

The entry fee is $80 for both days or $50 for one day only. One day entries are subject to bumping by 2 day entries should the event fill up. If a two day entry is paid AND only one day is run AND you would have been able to sign up for one day and not have been bumped, you will be credited $30 towards a future event.

Each day will be scored separately for Detroit Region Rallycross Championship points. Event awards will be given only for the complete event. Missed runs will be scored a MAX.

8:00–10:45am Onsite Registration

8:00–11:15am Tech

9:00-10:00 Course open for walking

9:30 Novice meeting

10:00–11:00am Test and Tune Session,

$5/per run or 5 for $20, 5 runs max per entrant.

Must be registered and have passed tech.

11:00 – noon: Lunch

High Noon Driver’s meeting.

Conclusion of Driver’s Meeting: First Run Group

All entrants must work as assigned at the Driver’s meeting.

4 runs per entrant, classes run as announced at the Driver’s meeting

Conclusion of 1st Run group: approximate 1 hour break to turn the course 

Second Run group, 4 runs per entrant, classes run as announced at the Driver’s meeting.

Conclusion of 2nd run group: Saturday Night Party sponsored by the Test and Tune session. All registered entrants and workers – free, guest tickets available for $20 Also, set up Sunday Course

Sunday, July 27th

8:00–8:45am Onsite Registration (for Sunday-only competitors)

8:00–8:45am Tech (for Sunday-only competitors)

8:45am:  Driver's meeting

9:00am: Third Run Group. 4 runs per entrant. Must work as assigned.

About noon – complete Third Run Group, one hour lunch break

After Lunch - 4th run group, 4 runs per entrant

After 4th run group - clean up course.

After clean up– Awards provided by the Detroit Region SCCA

Entry fee refunds will only be issued if the entry is cancelled before the close of online registration (except in special circumstances at the discretion of the event chairman).
