***START TIMES ARE DIFFERENT FOR THIS EVENT!!!   WE NEED TO BE DONE WITH COMP RUNS AT 2PM.  FIRST CAR OFF THE LINE 9AM!!  BE EARLY FOR COURSE WALKS!***

Important Times to Remember:
Regular Season Events and Test and Tune Events:
---6:30am to 7:30am: Course Setup(if you want to assist in course creation)
---7:30am to 8:30am: Registration, Tech Inspection, and Course Walks
***Competitor must be in line for registration by 9am. Registration after 9am is at the discretion of the Event Chairman. Late fee will apply if approved. **
---8:45am: The REQUIRED Driver's Meeting (all drivers must attend)
---9:00am: The first car is off the line!

Supplementals for the 8/17 Iron Pigs Event:
--Once again, check above for start times.

---The first 50 people to register online for this event will receive 2 free tickets to the Iron Pigs baseball game directly following the Solo event in the NEPASCCA Solo section.  If you don't need both tickets, please don't take them.  We'll pass them to the next solo competitor in line.  If you need more than 2 tickets or you were not in the first 50 but want to come to the game, it looks like there will still be room in the lawn area on Sunday.  You can purchase them at the ticket window for $7.00.  The tickets are also good for a discount on food inside the stadium.  Don't throw them out when you enter the gate for the game.

---Top solo competitors will be given the opportunity to parade their cars around the warning track inside the baseball stadium.  There is a maximum number that we can allow inside the ball park.  Class winners will definitely be permitted then we'll fill up the rest of the spots as we move down the line.  We'll annouce those eligible during the trophy presentation at the end of the event.  Keep in mind that this is a crushed gravel track so if your tires don't like that type of surface or you have a problem controlling your throttle on such, please do not participate in the parade lap.  Damage to any part of the stadium will not be covered under the SCCA's insurance and will come out of your pocket. Tires MUST stay 100% off the grass.  The parade (victory) lap will occur around 4-430pm before the 530pm game.  You should have your car in line by 430pm.

--Unlike most of our events, we do have a closing time for this event due to the baseball game and the traffic that will start coming into the lots.  The event will be over around 2pm.  Please make sure that you are early for the event so that we could start on or before 9am and provide a decent amount of runs for everyone.  We'll always guarantee 3 runs but strive for the most runs in the time allotted.

--There may be an opportunity for one of our competitors to throw out the first pitch at the game.  More information at the event.

--Truck and Trailer parking for this event will be behind left field.  Yes.  Unregistered cars can drive on Iron Pigs Road between lots since it is a private road.  If you are facing the stadium from the main lot, grid and pits will be in the left lot.  Racing will be in the upper lot to the right.  Trucks and trailers should be parked behind the stadium.  If you are staying for the game, your truck and trailer should remain behind the stadium.

Important NEPASCCA Rules/Supplementals to Remember:
---Anyone under the age of 18 who wants to drive, passenger, work, or spectate needs to have a Minor Waiver filled out before or at the event. Parent or guardian signatures are required. You can get a Minor Waiver sheet at a NEPA Solo Event or download a copy from the downloads section of nepascca.org

---The NEPA Region has always been a shifter cart "unfriendly" region. Small lots and no local competitors made it difficult to approve and test shifters at our venues. As of 2014, we are slowly trying to change this. We will be working with other shifter cart regions to try and lay a foundation for shifters in the future. There is no ETA at this time for the full approval of shifters at our venues but we are working on it. As of today, shifter cart approval will be given on a "per driver and per event basis" but the following rules will be in place and will not be altered. #1 - The shifter cart driver must be at least 16yo and have a valid driver's license for competition if the venue is approved. #2 - The venue and driver will have a much higher chance of approval if they have competed in National Tour or SCCA Pro Solo Events. #3 - All Pocono Raceway infield course events will have a shifter cart minimum age of 18yo with a valid driver's licence.

---We normally run 4 heats throughout the day. Two morning heats and two afternoon heats. Each competitor will run one morning heat and one afternoon heat. You are required to work 1 of the 2 heats that you are not driving. Heat numbers and work assignments can be adjusted prior to the event based on high or low turnout.

---Course walking is available prior to the required 9:45am driver's meeting and during lunch (if we take a lunch).

---Regular event fees are $35 for SCCA members and $45 for non-SCCA members(Your $45 includes weekend membership to the SCCA). Junior Kart participants, who are also current Annual SCCA Members, are eligible for a $10 discount per event registered. Special events may require slightly higher entry fees. Those events will be online reg ONLY and the pricing will be listed there. Solo Chairs from other regions can be comp'd for regular priced NEPA Solo events. Chairs should email solo@nepascca.org to set up your registration instead of standard online reg.

---If a non-member pays $45 to run a Saturday event, and there is also an event on Sunday in the same weekend, the competitor is only required to pay $35 for Sunday since they are SCCA members until Monday morning.

---Year-end trophies, jackets, and awards are only provided to "Annual SCCA Members".

---NEPASCCA normally does not use a sound meter to check exhausts. Safety stewarts and Event Chairs will decide if your car is too loud to run. A "one-time" refund will be available if you can not make the necessary adjustments to quiet your car.

---REFUNDS: Once your car trips the timer for your 1st run on course, you can not longer get a refund for ANY of your entry fee. If you register onsite for the event but do not cross the start timing lights, you will get a full refund that day. If you register online for an event but do not show up, you will be given a credit of your entry fee (minus $5 for administrative costs) for a future NEPASOLO event. If the event is listed as NO REFUNDS (as all Pocono infield road course events will be), there will be no refunds or credits given for that event.

---NEPASCCA has a few loaner helmets if you do not have one. We suggest that you do purchase your own.

---Passengers are allowed at NEPASCCA Solo events. Passenger must be at least 16yo and can prove so with an ID. Passengers are discouraged from using these ride-alongs to help them learn the course (unless the passenger is a novice). Event chairs have the right to prevent passengers or DNF a driver if "unfair advantage" is determined.

---Any driver whose car leaves the lot/course area during a competition run due to driving recklessly or outside of their limits will be asked to leave the event without refund.
