FIRE PREVENTION IS A REQUIREMENT. IF YOUR CAR IS A FIRE RISK, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON UNPAVED LOT. BE A GOOD AMBASSADOR TO THE SPORT AND CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

NO MUD ALLOWED INTO THE THUNDERHILL MAIN FACILITY. Once your car competes it is NOT allowed to enter the Thunderhill padlock areas!
98 DB at 50 feet sound restriction. (This is about as loud as a jackhammer at 50 feet).
All Thunderhill events for the foreseeable future will be SCCA sanctioned events. it would be cheaper in the long run to become an annual SCCA member.
Dry camping at site available for $35 per RV/Vehicle per night. To be paid on site to event organizer. This amount is required by Thunderhill raceway for camping.
Entry fees to be paid onsite. Cash payments, and/or Venmo & Paypal will be accepted. Cash is definitely preferred as cell service is hit or miss.
All persons driving in a car at this event must have an SCCA membership, either full or weekend.
Everyone is required to sign a waiver.
Fuel, Air, food (Thunderhill Grill), water, restroom, and medical facilities are available at the event site.
Helmets must be worn by all drivers and passengers during competition. Helmets must be in good condition, fit properly, provide adequate peripheral vision and the chin strap must be securely fastened. All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2015, SAH2010, SA2010, M2015, M2010, K2015, K2010), SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A or British spec BS6658-85 type A/FR are acceptable.
Loaner helmets will NOT be available at the event.
All vehicles must have tech completed at the event prior to competing. Tech inspection will be the responsibility of each competitor. If you require assistance in preparing your vehicle for tech, contact an event official and someone will help you.
Your car should be race ready when you bring it to grid. Your car will have tech inspection on grid, remain with your car, open hood and trunk until tech is complete.
Ultimately, it is your responsibility to assess the risk to you, both on-track and off, and to make the decision on whether or not to participate. If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath please stay home. If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing these symptoms in the last two weeks, please stay home.Notice to Participants: In light of the current COVID-19 situation, every attempt will be made to minimize the risks of exposure to the virus. New processes and procedures are being developed and will be put into place for events going forward.
While on site please take the health and safety of your fellow participants, volunteers and staff into consideration and practice social distancing, wear a mask, and wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently.
