Building on the lessons from the SuperMoto event in August this is the first of two test and tune events this year to figure out a format for a series next year culminating in the grand finale again in August.

Format
Non-competitive event
80% paved and 20% unpaved.
No jumps but some elevation changes that may result in "air".
Two cars on track half a lap apart; pursuit style.
This event is run in the confines of an oval track at autocross/rallycross speeds. Because of the confines of the space there is slightly more chance of damage occurring if you loose control though this never happened at the previous events. Just thought you should know.
Drivers
20 driver limit. 2 driver cars possible but may reduce each driver’s seat time.
Drivers must possess a currently valid automobile driver's license.
Drivers must be over 18 who have run at least ten sanctioned automobile speed events
Drivers must wear a helmet, some kind of neck support (available from the event coordinator at special pricing), a substantial jacket or sweater, long pants, gloves and closed toe shoes. Basically, no exposed skin.
Cars
Production based vehicles only. No SUVs or trucks. No convertibles.
No classes. Tires are open. Mods are free.
Would prefer: all panels, glass and lights present, no body damage, mud flaps on driven wheels, but not essential for this test & tune. Will be for Grande Finale though.
Schedule (tentative)
9 am Registration Opens
9:30 tech inspection
10:00 Driver's Meeting
10:30 Parade/course familiarization laps.
11:30 First Runs – we will run continuously in pairs till 2pm. We may break from time to time to take feedback and tweak the course or format or try new ideas. Drivers may pull out of line at any time to tweak their cars or shuffle their order. We have the track till 2pm so let’s make the most of it.
2 pm Debrief (ideally over lunch or cappuccino)
Driver entry is $40. This is a work in progress so please be flexible. Prior discussions, pics and videos can be found here. Everyone who enters the track must sign the waiver and pay some sort of entry fee for insurance purposes. For that reason we have to charge $2 for any crew or hangers on you bring in. Sorry about that.
We will accept entries on the day if there is room. Please bring a filled in print out of the MyAutoEvents form with you and $50 for the late entry fee.
